Before You Book
Renting an RV from Sphere Rental offers a personalized experience with top-quality vehicles, competitive pricing, and exceptional customer service. Our fleet is meticulously maintained, and we provide comprehensive support, including 24/7 customer service, and flexible rental options. This is how we continue to be the Best RV Rental in Utah.
All drivers must be 25 years or older and have a valid drivers license. All drivers must also be verified through the web platform prior to departure.
To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% rental deposit upfront, which will be deducted from the total rental cost. For details regarding our refund policy, please refer to the “Cancellation” section.
All rental charges and deposits are to be paid in full 15 days prior departure. Personal checks will not be accepted within 21 days prior departure. Cash and payment by Visa or Master Card are accepted up to 15 days prior to departure.
The delivery fee encompasses all logistics involved in delivering the RV to and from the renter’s specified location. This comprehensive fee covers the costs of lodging, per diem, airfare, or transportation for the delivery driver ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. Prior to delivery, the RV undergoes thorough preparation and sanitization to guarantee cleanliness and comfort. Any miles accrued during delivery and return are factored into the total rental miles, and fuel costs associated with the delivery and return are conveniently charged to the renter’s card on file.
A $1,500 Damage and Cleaning Deposit will be required two days prior to the date of pick-up. Renter is responsible for cleaning and any damage done to the motorhome between pick-up and drop-off. Renter is responsible for any loss of business and/or for the cost to accommodate future rentals due to damage that happened between their pick-up and drop-off times. Deposits can be made by major credit card or cash. Checks are accepted with a minimum of 7 days before departure only.
Our rentals include the RV, the insurance coverage that you have chosen, the essential supplies we include, and 24/7 customer service.
We have developed a user manual for each RV to help you feel comfortable and use the RV with ease.
Additional amenities such as bike racks, outdoor grills, and Starlink satellites are available to ad to your rental.

We have a variety of insurance coverage that you can choose from to add to your rental. You can choose from basic to advanced insurance as well as road side assistance. We also offer a ‘Life Happens” Insurance Policy.
We do offer one-way rentals.
Our RV delivery or return Fee, does not cover the cost of fuel and milage use will be added yo your rental.
We do not charge on top for per denim, hotel stay or flights.

We offer a variety of RVs to suit different needs and preferences, including Class C Motorhomes and Travel Trailers. Each RV comes with unique features to accommodate different group sizes and comfort levels.

We provide a variety of add ons for deliver or transportation to and from the airport. We are conveniently located just a short drive from Salt Lake City Airport.
You must have a 7-way/round plug, a trailer brake control switch (A trailer brake control switch communicates with the electric brakes on the trailer. It is a box under the dash of the towing vehicle. This is usually not included in a standard tow package. Trailer brakes are required in most states to tow any trailer 3000 pounds or heavier http://drivinglaws.aaa.com/laws/trailer-brakes/ is a good resource.) and a secure trailer hitch with a ball. Proper electrical wiring (round seven or 7-way, same thing) is required to tow Sphere Rental trailers. A round 5, 6 or straight 4 will not work. If you show up to pick up a trailer and we find that you do not have a trailer brake switch and/or a round seven plug then you will be responsible for payment in full without the trailer being given. I will not have enough time to rent to someone else if you cannot fix the tow vehicle’s wiring problem. Please check your wiring before you come to pick-up a trailer.
You will need a Trailer Brake Control Switch/Box installed under dash in towing vehicle or if your vehicle is 2011 or newer, it may be built in. In most cases a trailer control box is state law unless it is under 3,000 pounds.
What If
Full refund of reservation deposit is available up to 30 days before departure minus a $75.00 service fee. Reservation deposits are not refundable within 30 days of departure. Remainder of rental cost will be due 15 days prior departure. Full rental will not be refundable if canceled within 15 days of Departure.
Modifications to reservations can be made up to 21 days in advance, subject to availability, with a change fee of $25.00 per change. However, no change fees apply when adding days to your reservation.
We offer a 24/7 roadside assistance insurance option. With this option. and you encounter any issues, you can simply call the assistance hotline, and they will arrange for help as quickly as possible.

Loss of any item will incur a charge of $15.00 plus the replacement cost of said item.

In the event you need to cancel within 30 days of your rental start date, your deposit can be utilized as a credit toward a future rental. These credits are contingent upon booking an additional rental and must be redeemed within the same calendar year. This credit is applicable to a single rental transaction.
We offer pet friendly RV Rentals.
Well-behaved, house broken pets are welcome, unless they pose a health or safety risk or they are prohibited by law. Our policy requires a non-refundable pet fee. This pet fee goes towards the extra sanitization required after a pet rental, including an ozone treatment.
Our renter is financially responsible for any damage done by their pet, including deep cleaning due to accidents. All animals must be declared during pick-up and attended to and under control at all times. If there is evidence of an animal that was not declared, a $250 fee will be assessed in addition to any financial responsibility for damages or deep cleaning.
Please understand that if RVs are left excessively dirty or hairy due to pets, there maybe an additional cleaning cost.

Towing availability varies by the RV model. Some RVs are equipped for towing, while others are not. Please check with us when booking to ensure your rental meets your towing needs. If the lock on the hitch has been tampered with during your rental, you will be subject to additional fees.

While On Rental

All of Sphere Rental motor homes are non-smoking. Motor Homes are not permitted off of paved roads, no dirt roads please. Evidence of smoking, pets (without a pet deposit) or of dirt roads will result in a $250 fee. Please do not put bikes or any other hard, sharp or loose items inside the trailer. They scratch the interior and that is very expensive and can be impossible to repair. We charge $50 for any abuse of this rule in addition payment by the renter for any repairs needed.
Sphere Rental RVs are restricted to travel within the lower 48 states and cannot be taken to Mexico, Burning Man (incl Burning Man Sanctioned Events), or Canada without prior written authorization.
We recommend bringing essentials such as food, clothing, toiletries, and any personal items you may need.

Pick-up takes approximately 1 hour. Pick-up times are scheduled from 6 to 8 PM.
To collect the RV, ensure you have a valid driver’s license on hand. We cannot release an RV without it.
We complete an inventory prior to your arrival of all included equipment. And take photos of the condition and the equipment.
At pick up, we go through the motorhome together to inspect, mark any existing damage, and show you how the equipment works. We will also take a short test drive with all verified drivers.
Once that’s complete, you are welcome to load up all of your gear on site. You can park a vehicle at the park next to our house, although we cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage that may occur.

Upon pick-up, we provide a thorough walkthrough of the RV, explaining how to operate all features and systems.

Yes, rental extensions are possible based on availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an extension.
You can park the RV at designated RV parks, campgrounds, or other legal overnight parking locations.
National and state parks often have designated areas for RVs. Always check local regulations before parking.
Grocery Stores will sometimes let you park overnight, but always check with a manager first.
The RV should be returned in the same condition as when it was rented, including emptying waste tanks and refilling the fuel and propane tanks.
Light cleaning including: Emptying the Fridge, Taking out the Trash, Sweeping the Floor and tidying the bathroom.
Cleaning fees may apply if the RV is not returned clean.
It is crucial to return the motorhome by 6:00 PM on the last day of your rental to avoid a late return fee of $100.00 per hour.
Return takes approximately 10 minutes. We will do a quick check for lost items and send you on your way.
After you depart (within 72 hours) we complete a full inspection, inventory check and damage inspection.
If you are unable to return by 9 PM on the last day of your rental, you will be required to extend your rental by an additional day. And then make arrangements to return the RV the following day.
Additionally, you will also be assessed any additional expenses incurred due to tardiness or damage affecting subsequent renters.
Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth rental experience and to avoid any additional charges or complications.
We ensure that propane tanks are filled, and black and gray tanks are emptied before your departure. Kindly return them in the same condition upon your return. Failure to do so will result in a $20.00 charge per tank, in addition to the cost of refilling fuel (propane, gas, black, gray).
After Your Rental
The deposit hold is automatically released 7 days after a return. The full deposit will be refunded when the motorhome has been returned undamaged, clean, with all the supplied items and no other charges have been made. It can take 2-7 business days for funds to process on major credit cards. If there is unpaid fees or damages found during the inspection after return, the deposit will be help until the final bill is settled.

Your own motor vehicle insurance or credit card may cover loss or damage to the vehicle. Failure to return the vehicle within 72 hours of the expiration of the rental period may constitute a criminal offense under Utah law and subject you to the maximum penalty for theft of a motor vehicle.
