All of Sphere Rental trailers are non-smoking.  Trailers are not permitted off of paved roads, no dirt roads please. Trailers are not authorized to be used at Burning Man. Evidence of smoking, pets (without a pet deposit) or of dirt roads will result in a $250 fee. Please do not put bikes or any other hard, sharp or loose items inside the trailer.  They scratch the interior and that is very expensive and can be impossible to repair.  We charge $50 for any abuse of this rule in addition payment by the renter for any repairs needed.

Well-behaved, house broken pets are welcome, unless they pose a health or safety risk or they are prohibited by law. Our policy requires a non-refundable pet fee. Owner is financially responsible for any damage done by their pet, including deep cleaning due to accidents. All animals must be declared during pick-up and attended to and under control at all times. If there is evidence of an animal that was not declared, a $250 fee will be assessed in addition to any financial responsibility for damages or deep cleaning.

You will need a Trailer Brake Control Switch/Box installed under dash in towing vehicle or if your vehicle is 2011 or newer, it may be built in. In most cases a trailer control box is state law unless it is under 3,000 pounds.

Proof of current insurance is required at the time of departure.  Please verify with your insurance carrier that they transfer liability to the trailer.

A $500.00 Damage and Cleaning Deposit will be required at time of pick-up. Renter is responsible for cleaning and any damage done to the trailer between pick-up and drop-off. Renter is responsible for any loss of business and/or for the cost to accommodate future rentals due to damage that happened between their pick-up and drop-off times. Deposits can be made by major credit card or cash. Checks are accepted with a minimum of 7 days before departure only.

The deposit will be refunded within 48 hrs of drop-off and only after a return inspection is complete. The full deposit will be refunded when the trailer has been returned undamaged, clean, with all the supplied items and no other charges have been made. (It can take 2-7 business days for funds to process on major credit cards).

A fee of $100.00 will be required at the time of reservation and that fee will go towards the final rental price. See “Cancellation” below for our refund policy.

A full refund of the reservation deposit is available up to 30 days before departure minus a $25.00 service fee. The reservation fee is not refundable within 4 weeks of departure but can be used at another date.

All drivers must be 25 years or older and have a valid drivers license.

Daily rentals are done in 24 hour periods. Plan on 1 hour for pick-up and ½ hour for drop-off. Times are scheduled between 6 and 9 PM. If the trailer is not dropped off at the scheduled time, the renter will be charged at an hourly rate of $25.00 plus any loss of business or incurred charges to accommodate the next renter due to tardiness or damage affecting another renter. Renter is responsible for any damage to trailer from pick-up time to drop-off time.

Changes can be made up to 21 days in advance, so long as available, with a $25.00 change fee per change.  If you’re wanting to add days to your reservation there will be no change fees.

All rental charges and deposits are to be paid in full at time of pick-up. Personal checks will not be accepted within 7 days of pick-up. Cash and payment by Visa or Master Card are accepted up to or on the day of departure.

Sphere Rental trailers are not allowed out of the lower 48 states. Trailers cannot be taken to Mexico, Burning Man or Canada.

The propane tanks are full, and the black and gray tanks are empty when you depart.  Please return them in the same condition or a $20.00 charge per tank (propane, black, gray) will be charged up to $60.
